Where Corn Don’t Grow — This Friday’s Song

This Friday’s Song is “Where Corn Don’t Grow” by Travis Tritt. This song was first recorded by Waylon Jennings. The version by Tritt has an even deeper emotional pull for me than the original by Jennings. The song’s cadence, Tritt’s vocals, and his storytelling pull you in.

I have shared two versions of the song. The first is the recorded version from The Restless Kind album, his fifth studio album which was released in 1996.. the second is from his “Live and Kickin” performance which was filmed in Chattanooga in 2002.

Hope you enjoy “Where Corn Don’t Grow” by Travis Tritt.
