Just started watching Unforgotten. This is a British crime drama (yup, yet another one for us). It features a team of London detectives, led by DCI Cassie Stuart (Nicola Walker) and DI Sunny Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar), as they solve cold cases of disappearance and murder.
There are four series of Unforgotten currently available on Amazon Prime. Each series focuses on a new case and is six episodes long. A fifth season has been announced, but new seasons of British always seem to take a while to get to US streaming services.
So far, the storyline for the first series is pretty tight. The main characters played by Walker and Bhaskar are engaging and have good chemistry. More than many shows of this genre, there seems to be a focus on both the victim and the impact of the crime. We will have to see how things unfold, but so far a strong watch list recommendation from us.
