We got the very sad news that my cousin Ian lost his valiant battle against cancer on Friday. Ian was one of those rare “old” souls who brought out the best in everyone around him. He was an amazing artist known for his work on The Simpsons (1989), Family Guy (1999) and King of the Hill (1997).
For those of you that know a bit about my “complicated” family story, Ian played a very unique part since I had known him way before I knew about that part of my family. When we discovered it, it created a unique bond because of the person he was. It was truly a blessing to be his friend and to be family.
So long my friend, till we meet again…
