This Friday’s song is “Rhythm of the Rain.” I picked two versions of the song. The first is the original version by the Cascades which was released in November 1962. It was written by Cascades band member John Claude Gummoe. The second is the cover released by Dan Fogelberg in 1990. This one came across my YouTube stream last week. I was travelling in Asia a lot and had a couple of Fogelberg CDs in my collection. As I was listening, I realized I knew another version (the original) even better. So I decided to share both.
