This Friday’s Song is “Morning Has Broken” by Yusof / Cat Stevens. My wife streamed this song last week and it brought back a lot of memories. I was a junior at St. John’s Prep when this was released in March 1971. I owned a couple of his albums including Tea for the Tillerman which featured “Father and Son“and Teaser and the Firecat which this song, “Moonshadow,” and “Peace Train” came from. This music reflected so much about my generation as it came of age.
