This Friday’s song is Day That I Die by the Zac Brown Band. This was released in the summer of 2012 on the band’s Uncaged album. The studio version that features Amos Lee has been a personal favorite since I first heard the song. I included the official audio version and a behind-the-scenes video from the band in this post.

Day That I Die is a strong reminder that the time each of us has is finite and precious. Always strive to be true to yourself and make the most of every day. Hope you enjoy Day That I Die by the Zac Brown Band.
‘Cause I believe that I,
Was born with a song inside of me.
Never question why,
I just keep on singing that melody.
And as time goes by,
Oh it’s funny how time can make you realize,
We’re running out of it.
On the day that I die,
I wanna say that I,
Was a man who really lived and never compromised.
I want to live out my days,
Until the very end,
I hope they find me in my home
With my guitar in my hands.
I hope they find me in my home
With my guitar in my hands.
