We decided to check out Sliders: A Sandwich Revolution on Thursday night. It is one of the new places that recently opened in Tallahassee. We decided to share two sliders and some fries. We picked the George Washington, a beef brisket slider with a cherry-bourbon BBQ sauce, cherry-smoked bacon, provolone cheese, and onion straws. We also picked the Ben Franklin, a sliced ribeye slider with peppers and onions that is topped with Sam Adams beer cheese sauce.
Both sliders were very tasty. The fries were crisp and well-seasoned. Two sliders and fries will probably satisfy most adults. The presentation is very casual. We both thought it could come up a few notches to show off the food better. They serve tea and soft drinks to go with your meal. It is located in the center of Midtown, so parking is a bit challenging.
We enjoyed it and will probably head back to try out some of the other interesting choices on the menu. We wish Drew and Kim McLeod lots of success with this new venue.
